Overview
Learner Voice goes beyond creating an atmosphere of listening and learning; it positions learners’ feedback as a vehicle for change. It focuses on normalising feedback mechanisms that lead to meaningful action, not just consultation. Organised structures are essential to successful Learner Voice engagement, and this course provides the tools and support to help staff build and sustain those structures effectively.
Further Education and Training is already recognised as a sector that values learners’ diverse prior experiences when they begin or return to learning. Learner Voice, however, is the process of creating an environment where learners’ voices are regarded as equally important alongside other stakeholders. Learner voice is a multifaceted process that requires clear and supportive structures to ensure meaningful participation. The Learner Voice Digital Badge is designed to enhance staff capacity to develop Learner Voice structures in Further Education and Training (FET) settings.
The goal is to enhance learning for everyone.
