Overview
In this Open Course participants will learn how to promote their ideas or their campus initiatives. The course introduces a wide range of methods to ensure participants can communicate their message effectively. This course is empowering and builds the skills of participants to take on a voluntary role of a Public Relations Officer.
You’ll Learn to
- Identify key communication channels and promotional strategies suitable for sharing messages effectively within campus and community settings.
- Create clear, engaging, and targeted promotional content to raise awareness of their idea, event, or organisation.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and implement a basic public relations campaign that aligns with organisational goals.
- Apply foundational Public Relations Officer (PRO) skills, including audience analysis, message crafting, and selecting appropriate outreach methods.
On earning your open badge award for this course, you will have achieved further recognition in the following domains of the National Professional Development Framework for Staff who Teach:
