Online Course: Education for Sustainability

The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education are delighted to announce that the fully online Open Course, Education for Sustainability, will run from February 2023. This course has been developed in partnership with Atlantic Technological University, Dublin City University, University College Cork and Technological University Dublin.
This free 6 week course is available to all staff currently working in Higher Education in the Republic of Ireland, subject to availability of places. Additional facilitator training is included so that you can become a facilitator of this course, to run it in your own institution, and as part of a national Education for Sustainability network. A further commitment of five learner hours will be required for the facilitator add-on, in addition to attendance at two extra webinars over 2 weeks.

Expression of Interest
Registration is now open for the Open Course in Education for Sustainability. Spaces are limited and shortlisting may apply. Registration will be open until 27 January 2023 or until all places are filled.
The Open Course will be facilitator-led. Additional facilitator training is included so that you can later facilitate your own open course as part of a national Education for Sustainability network.
