This course introduces the key principles of sustainable living and explores how everyday choices can contribute to a healthier environment and more sustainable future.
Sustainable living involves reducing the use of natural and personal resources, while promoting the wellbeing of people and the planet. The topics covered in this course are interconnected and highlight practical ways to make more environmentally responsible decisions.
Through a combination of video content and interactive activities, you will develop an understanding of how actions such as reducing waste, conserving energy and making sustainable choices can support a greener campus and community.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Explain the importance of waste reduction, recycling and food waste reduction in promoting a greener campus environment.
- Identify key energy determination principles to support eco-friendly practices within the campus community.
- Demonstrate an understanding of sustainable living concepts by completing interactive activities and quizzes.
